  • Mathew Wanbon

    CANADA

Mathew Wanbon is an action sports, adventure, and commercial photographer based on Vancouver Island, BC. He loves getting deep into the cultures of the sports and activities that he documents and telling stories that connect with core values while remaining accessible for general audiences. Whether he’s pedalling his bike up kilometres of a dusty singletrack to capture an epic descent, splitboarding into the alpine at sunrise for fresh turns, hiking countless kilometres with a 50lb pack, or capturing the quiet moments around the campfire, he lives to create images that feel real, gritty, and alive.

  • Alex Perales

    USA

I am an avid outdoorsman whose current outdoor pursuit revolves around cycling! I got my first mountain bike in my hometown of El Paso, Texas, in 2009, but did not get seriously into the hobby until 2020. After moving to the Fort Worth side of the Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex, I found FWMBA trails and fell in love with Sansom Park. That trail is where giving back to the community started when I became a Trail Steward. For 2026, I have taken on the President role within the FWMBA, a role I am very excited to take on to help the club move forward in a positive direction.

  • Camden Benesh

    USA

Camden is a Portland-based illustrator and comic artist who loves bringing characters to life through storyboarding, character design, and comics (especially if cats are involved). When he’s not drawing, you can find him skateboarding around town, cruising on his bike, or indulging in Monopoly if donuts are involved.

  • Brett Johnson

    USA

Brett is a longtime mountain bike enthusiast who has spent the past 15 years exploring trails and giving back to the places he rides. As Lead Trail Steward for the Overley Worman Mountain Bike Trail in Zionsville, IN, he works with the Indy Trail Collective and the Zionsville Parks Department to coordinate maintenance efforts, guide community volunteers, and support long‑term trail development. His commitment to both trail quality and community engagement has helped strengthen local outdoor recreation and expand access to a well‑maintained trail system.

  • Colin Field

    CANADA

Colin Field is a Blue Mountains, Ontario–based journalist, photographer, and lifelong rider who has spent more than two decades telling stories from the dirt side of cycling. His work focuses on mountain bike culture, trail access, grassroots advocacy, and the people who quietly shape riding communities.

Between earning degrees in anthropology and journalism, he bicycle-toured throughout Europe and West Africa, worked as a bicycle-courier in London, a bike guide in the U.S., a trail builder in Ontario, and a pumptrack shaper in B.C.

  • Sébastien Houde

    SWITZERLAND

Sébastien, a Canadian who now calls the Alps home, works at the Université of Lausanne on environmental, energy, and climate issues. He prefers flat pedals, and you can’t really trust him with a chainsaw.

  • Illya Rudkin

    SCOTLAND

Illya Rudkin is a filmmaker based in Scotland with a passion for capturing the landscapes and adventures of the Scottish countryside. A lifelong mountain biker, using YouTube to share his passion, his films often explore the connections between people, trails, and the outdoors.

Before turning to filmmaking, Illya built a successful career as a software engineer in the games and automotive industries, working with Sony R&D London, Sony Psygnosis, and APB Reloaded in Edinburgh.
